Refund Policy

At IELTAI, we want you to be satisfied with our service. This policy outlines our refund process.

1. Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if:

  • You have used less than 20% of your purchased tests
  • You have not violated our Terms of Service
  • You have a valid reason for dissatisfaction

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be granted if:

  • More than 14 days have passed since purchase
  • You have completed more than 20% of available tests
  • Your account was terminated for violations
  • You are requesting a second refund
  • You dispute the charge with your bank (chargeback)

3. How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Email support@ieltai.com with:

  • Your account email
  • Order/transaction ID
  • Reason for refund request
  • Date of purchase

Step 2: We'll review your request within 3 business days

Step 3: If approved, refund will be processed within 5-10 business days

4. Refund Method

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Stripe payments: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal payments: 3-5 business days
  • Bank processing times may vary

5. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer partial refunds:

  • If you've used some but not all services
  • If technical issues affected your experience
  • At our discretion based on circumstances

6. Subscription Cancellations

  • You can cancel your subscription anytime
  • Cancellation stops future billing
  • You retain access until the end of your billing period
  • No refunds for partial months

7. Technical Issues

If you experience technical problems:

  • Contact support first
  • We'll try to resolve the issue
  • Refunds are a last resort
  • Document the issue with screenshots

8. Chargebacks

⚠️ Important Notice

If you file a chargeback:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended
  • You forfeit the right to a refund
  • We may pursue the disputed amount
  • Your account may be permanently banned
